Martin Brody.

Co-founder and Director of One Landscape

Martin Brody is a composer and former Andrew Heiskell Arts Director at the American Academy in Rome. As Co-Director of One Landscape, Martin plays a central curatorial role, guiding the artist residency through programming and artist selection. He is particularly attuned to work that hovers between artistic structure and environmental or empirical observation, as exemplified in Erin Gee’s composition or Tanya Marcuse’s photographs.  Through One Landscape, Brody seeks to bring art out of conventional exhibition spaces and into active ecological and social settings, treating residencies as experiments in perception and collaboration. He frames the project as evolving through dialogue with participants, sites, and non-traditional knowledge systems
